World Cup final 2024 The World Cup final will be the perfect dress rehearsal for the World Championships!
The finale of the Alpine Ski World Cup will take place in Saalbach in March 2024. The eagerly awaited season finale is also the dress rehearsal for the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships Saalbach 2025.

Before the World Championships take place in Saalbach in February 2025, Saalbach is looking forward to welcoming the best ski racers in the world to the World Cup final of the 2023/24 season. This is when the last sporting decisions will be made in the overall World Cup and the individual discipline rankings for both the women and the men. Traditionally, only the 25 best athletes in the respective discipline rankings and all skiers with over 500 points in the overall rankings are eligible to compete in the season finale. In addition, the reigning junior world champions are also allowed to present themselves on the big stage of skiing at the finale.

This gives the athletes the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the World Championship slopes on the Zwölferkogel and to ski at race pace for the first time. The World Cup final should also provide the World Cup organisation team with important insights into the infrastructure, mobility concept and sports logistics, as World Cup medals will once again be awarded in Glemmtal just eleven months later.
