With the gravel bike through Saalbach-Hinterglemm
The Bikecircus Saalbach Hinterglemm has long been recognised as an absolute paradise for mountain bikers. The large selection of trails and lines inspires beginners and pros alike with many a bike park in Saalbach and the surrounding area. But that's by no means all there is to do on two wheels in the Home of Lässig. Gravel biking has become indispensable for many in Saalbach and Hinterglemm, and the region has become a gravel insider tip. What is actually behind this trend and which spots are a must?

Freedom on two wheels
For gravel bikers, there is (almost) no terrain that they cannot master with emphasised nonchalance. These bikes are real all-rounders and perfectly tailored to challenging surfaces. Gravel, that's English for gravel, and there's more than enough of it in the Home of Lässig. Off-road bikers cycle and pedal over hill and dale. Forest tracks and gravel roads are not an obstacle for them, but a valuable challenge that simply has to be mastered. The heavy, usually quite comfortable bikes also offer welcome stability and therefore invite you to explore Saalbach Hinterglemm even beyond gravel action.
The gravel bike network in Saalbach Hinterglemm is constantly growing with many routes that extend far beyond the region and take in the highlights of the neighbouring communities.

Here are some personal favourites:
- Gravel-Devil: The devil may not be in the detail, but on this tour to the Devil's Water at the head of the valley. The wheat is separated from the chaff on 32 kilometres of mighty climbs.
- Dusty Ride: For a long time, these 59 kilometres are almost relaxed, almost picturesque. Shortly before the end, there is a tricky gravel climb to the Arthurhaus, which is certainly fun.
- Extreme Scream: The "Screaming Fountains" push even experienced bikers to their limits. High-speed and uphill sections alternate. Over 104 kilometres, there is hardly any time for the relaxed panorama.
