Fairytale forest in Hinterglemm for our little ones
A must for families with small children at any time of year.
Guided lantern walks are also on the programme
The fairytale forest has been delighting children and adults alike since 1986, transporting them into a world of dwarves and fairies with
its nostalgic charm.
The fairytale forest is part of the KIDS WANDER CHALLENGE and KIDS WINTER CHALLENGE and is therefore worth a visit all year round.

You can enter the themed trail at several entry points. The most popular start is probably after the "Hinterglemm Stererfeldweg" bus stop.
The path leads over several stations in the direction of the sports centre. Nevertheless, a stretcher is recommended when hiking with small children, as steep ramps line the path.
Some of the carved and lovingly designed stations tell the legends and fairy tales presented at the touch of a button.
Thanks to the many - often voluntary - helping hands, the fairytale forest has never lost its magic over the decades and continues to make children laugh and parents smile.
