In 1765:

Anna sends a call for help - inadvertently to the year 2022

The young Anna fights for her place in the male domain of the muleteers with a securitised patent and all her courage. On the road with her mules, fully loaded with brandy, she is caught by Sergeant Konrad without a licence and without a wine note and imprisoned for smuggling. Theft? Mule driver Johann and innkeeper Michl substantiate the accusation with their statements, but Reverend Thaddäus finds this suspicious.

He summons Konrad, Johann and Michl to confession. Although he must maintain the secrecy of the confessional, he has the three men deliver their confessions in writing. The three "confessions" are sealed. Thaddäus "forgets" them during a visit to Anna's cell and casually drops enigmatic clues that might help open them. Anna can't solve them on her own...

In 2022:

Teresa has inherited an antique Buckelkraxn from her recently deceased grandfather Simon, which once belonged to the muleteer Anna.
Simon had shared a big secret with Teresa: his totally crazy, magical and, according to all the laws of nature, impossible communication with Anna, who in 1765 was sitting in a cell in the waiting tower in Saalbach and whose letter turned up one day in the Buckelkraxn's junk box. They were able to send letters and things back and forth between the centuries, were in lively dialogue and Simon had tried for a long time to help her and solve the confessional riddles.

Recently, a new clue arrived in the magic box! But Teresa can't take care of it and took everything to the Saalbach tourist office. Who can help her?
